Do you want to help cure cancer in dogs? We do.
That’s why we created Gamgee.

We’re developing personalized mRNA cancer vaccines for dogs to give them more good years with the people who love them.

We’re looking for a hands-on operator to work directly with our founders and scientific team. You’ll keep projects moving, coordinate partners, and build the processes that help turn promising science into treatment.

You don’t need to be a scientist or regulatory expert. You do need to take ownership, learn quickly, and follow through. We want someone who can take a problem, work out what needs to happen, and move it forward without needing every step assigned.

What you’ll do

Run day-to-day operations. Manage project timelines, budgets, vendors, purchasing, and follow-up. Identify bottlenecks, resolve operational issues, and keep the team focused on what needs to happen next.

Coordinate manufacturers and partners. Research suppliers, initiate conversations, organize technical discussions, compare proposals, and track commitments alongside our scientific team.

Work with clinics and veterinarians. Help onboard partners and coordinate documentation, sample logistics, treatment scheduling, and follow-up under our clinical team’s guidance. Make it easy for partners to understand what is needed and when.

Support regulatory projects. Help coordinate jurisdiction requests and other applications by gathering materials, organizing expert input, and tracking submissions and deadlines. Our specialists own the technical strategy; you help keep the process moving.

Build practical systems. Create straightforward ways to track projects, costs, documentation, and partner commitments. Improve recurring workflows without adding unnecessary complexity.

What you’ll bring

Typically four or more years in operations, project management, or a related role, with a record of taking projects from start to finish. You’re organized, communicate clearly, manage external relationships confidently, and are comfortable with spreadsheets, budgets, and documentation.

Healthcare or veterinary experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience delivering projects in a regulated environment. Experience with clinical research, manufacturers, laboratories, or regulatory submissions would be valuable, but you don’t need all of it. A veterinary or medical qualification is not required.

You’re comfortable with changing priorities and know when to make a decision versus bringing in an expert. Above all, you’re resourceful, excited about the mission, and willing to handle the details as well as the bigger picture.

Why Gamgee?

Want to put your skills toward making the world a better place? We’re completely focused on helping as many dogs as we can live longer, healthier lives, and we want someone who is equally passionate about that mission.

You’ll have real responsibility, work closely with the founders, and help shape how Gamgee grows. There’s room to learn, build, and take on more as we expand. But the reason behind the work stays the same: a dog and a family hoping for more time together.
